2016年暑期，我第三次参加俄亥俄州米尔福德市西门子生命周期管理（PLM）软件公司的带薪实习。我在西门子负责为NX机械布线程序更改用户界面和为移动对话框添加新功能。同时，我还单独负责造船公司的项目，为其NX布线程序添加新指令，帮助工人通过简单的选择操作进行船只组装。

该项目需要完成的任务有：
检查设备中所有合格的布线连接点
将弯头达到90度弯曲状态
切割未能达到90度的弯头使其符合组装的弯曲程度

由于时间限制，我没能在规定时间内完成全部任务。但是，我的表现为自己赢得了西门子内部5级制评级的第4级（部分达成目标）。下一轮实习，西门子公司将安排我到印度实习一学期。我将在印度普纳度过2017年暑期。

带薪实习期间，我有机会去很多有趣的地方旅行。我和朋友们驾车去尼亚加拉大瀑布，路上还在纽约州布法罗的水牛城度过一晚。次日，我们抵达尼亚加拉，在美国境内（尼亚加拉大瀑布位于加拿大安大略省和美国纽约州交界处）观赏了壮美的瀑布。我们还乘坐了雾中少女号（Maid of the Mist）游船，得以近距离欣赏瀑布。回程时，我们在宾夕法尼亚州的伊利市——以伊利湖的名字命名的城市过夜，大家在伊利湖的游船上度过一整天。

临近暑期尾声，我参加了两项有趣的活动。一是参加了俄亥俄州哥伦布市的皇家马德里和巴黎圣日耳曼的国际友谊足球赛，二是在印第安纳州印第安纳波利斯市听酷玩乐队的演唱会。

This summer was my 3rd rotation with Siemens PLM Software as a Student Co-op in Milford, Ohio. At Siemens, I was responsible for changing the User Interface and adding new functionalities to the Move Part Dialog Box in the NX Mechanical Routing Application. I also single-handedly worked on a project for a ship builder wherein I added a new command on the NX Routing Application which helped them place elbows on the assembly of a ship just by selecting a segment. This project entailed the following tasks:

Checking for all qualifying Routing Connection Points on a segment
Placing elbows at 90-degree bends
Cutting elbows to fit bends which are not 90 degrees

Due to time constraints, I was unable to finish the 3rd task. However, my performance at Siemens earned me an internal rating of 4 out of 5 (partially over achieved all targets) at Siemens.

For my next Co-op, Siemens is sending me to India for a semester. I will be working out of Pune, India during the Summer of 2017.

hile on Co-op, I got a chance to travel to a lot of exciting places. I drove all the way to Niagara Falls with my friends. On our way to Niagara, we spent a night in Buffalo, NY and the next day we drove to Niagara and saw the beautiful falls from the American side. We even went on the Maid of the Mist boat ride, which took us extremely close to the falls. On our way back from Niagara, we decided on spending a night in Erie, Pennsylvania which is a city named after Lake Erie. My friends and I spent the day on a boat in Lake Erie.

Towards the end of Summer, I attended two exciting events; an International Friendly soccer game between Real Madrid vs. PSG in Columbus, Ohio and the Coldplay concert in Indianapolis, IN.
