我是一名辛辛那提大学的学生，我来自阿曼(Oman)。成为一名美国大学生是我的一个梦想，而成为辛辛那提大学（UC）的一名学生是我所梦寐以求的。选择到一所离家千里的大学上学，做出这样的决定真的不容易。我已经做好了面对并克服困难的准备。要讲一门外语，在一个陌生的环境生活，要适应一种新的文化，这些都是我在到美国之后要面对的挑战。

成为一名辛辛那提大学（UC）的学生，并不只是在学校里上课而已，尤其是如果你要住在学校的宿舍里，你会和来自不同国家的同学在同一个地方休息、饮食、消遣和社交。我参加了学校的各项课外活动，不仅学到了新技能，还拓展了自己的社交关系。通过参加校内、外活动，我认识了很多来自不同国家、拥有不同文化背景的学生、教授和工作人员。

辛辛那提大学(University of Cincinnati ，简称UC)非常注重学生的工作体验，除了很多校外的工作机会外，在大学校内为优异学习成绩的学生提供了不同的兼职工作。我从没想过有机会作为一名国际学生在校内工作，在校内我成为工程学和应用科学学院两门课程的助教：工程模型II（engineering model II）和工程基础（engineering foundation）。同时我也是UC国际招生办公室的一名国际大使，每一学年新生周活动上，作为国际留学生大使我会帮助来再不同国家的国际留学生，也通过工作认识到很多新的朋友。

辛辛那提大学能为学生提供一切他们想要达成目的所需的条件，合作教育项目、国外留学经历、教育会议、课程辅导中心和学术写作中心等。对于所有想在学业上取得成功的国际学生而言，UC是最好的大学，您可以通过课程、研究中心和学校活动获得知识和经验。

Being a student at one of the US universities was a dream and being a student at UC  was all what I wanted. It is really a big decision to choose to attend a university that is thousands of miles away from your home. I had expected that I will face a lot of obstacles that I need to overcome. Speaking a language that differs from your mother tongue, living in a different environment, and adjusting to a new culture were big challenges I faced after reaching the country. 

Being a UC student is more than just taking classes on campus; especially, if you live in the university dorms where you see students sleep, eat, hang out, and socialize all at the same place, which is campus. I have participated in various extracurricular activities at UC. I have not only learnt new skills, but also expanded my network. I have known a lot of students, professors, and office workers from different countries and cultures through my participation in both on campus and off campus activities.  

I was not expecting to have the chance to work on campus as an international student. UC provides different part-time jobs that require time commitment, dedication and good academic performance. I got the opportunity to be a teaching assistant in the collage of engineering and applied science for two courses: engineering model II and engineering foundation. I am also an international ambassador in the international admissions at UC where I get to know international students from different countries during the orientation each new academic year and through the duties of this job. 

UC provides students with everything they need to reach their goals. Cooperative education program, studying abroad experiences, educational conferences, ,tutoring centers for certain courses, academic writing centers and more. UC is the best university for any international student who wants to succeed in their studies, and gain knowledge and experience through classes, research centers, and activities of the university. Wish  you all the best incoming bearcats!
